GROOVEME. SO BELIEVABLE. IT’S UNBELIEVABLE.

When we first conceived the notion of producing Holographic shows as a supplement to existing performances at Concerts and Festivals we had not truly considered the scale to which this could develop.

Today with Offices in Delhi, Louisiana, Toronto, and soon to be open Shanghai, we are now getting to grips with the enormity of the operations. The UK Centre of Excellence is special. Located at The Stately Home of Rock, Knebworth, where so many iconic performances have been given historically it’s hard not to just shiver sometimes with the excitement of the place.

‘Make me smile’

It’s a little like walking in to Abbey Road Studios and hearing stories from such legendary figures as Steve Harley who began his career with EMI and recording MAKE ME SMILE there. So over 40 years later to re-cut the track exclusively for GrooveME in Studio One with another legend, Pete Gobbins as engineer, literally made us smile. Pete also worked on The Beatles Anthology and The Kings Speech.

The resulting sound and image are devastatingly real and true to life, reinforcing our tag line, It’s so believable. It’s unbelievable. We’re doing this for music lovers everywhere, and across all genres and all tastes with some extra special add-ons to just excite even more.

With recent inward investment enabling commercial product developments, GrooveME is on its way.
Hopefully to Number 1.

“ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY”

They think it’s all over…..

…It is now.”

Spoken by Sir Geoff Hurst in the Houses of Parliament in March, this phrase didn’t refer to the Brexit situation but the 1966 World Cup final.

Sir Geoff was referring to fans on the pitch after England’s historic win as part of his wider talk about being in the right place at the right time to make a difference. Remember he scored a hat trick in that final.

He and I were at the launch of the 2019 Parliamentary Review paper. Sir Geoff as keynote speaker, and myself as contributor and Chairman of Groove Media and Entertainment (GrooveME ), and its sister company ZoneME.

The aspect I had highlighted in the paper was the increasing difficulty of raising funding for truly innovative technologies, even though they may have the capability to be hugely profitable for UK PLC. They may be in the right place at the right time, but needed the right financial backers.

I made the point that whilst technology and creative industries evolve at an increasingly rapid rate, the financial sector which the City of London is supposedly famed for, has since 2008 become more and more risk averse. The funding famine is resulting in the suffocation of fledgling businesses that could be the future Amazon, Google or Facebook.

GrooveME and ZoneME produce world class, fully scalable holograms at a price/quality relationship unmatched globally. ZoneME’s innovation is to produce what we believe is a world first 3D immersive sound experience, and one that we believe will revolutionise the way we listen to audio in the future. It is truly disruptive technology with massive potential.

Both companies experienced and are experiencing difficulties in raising the necessary finance. The traditional ways of evaluating business prospects like market sector and historical trading data are no longer appropriate.

The theme in the Parliamentary Review paper is we need innovative financial solutions to go with innovative companies that are disrupting our market places. That way we will not only be in the right place at the right time, but we will have the right resources for success.

Maybe then it won’t be over, but will be just the beginning.
